Whippersnapper Gallery is a Toronto based Artist Run Center that supports and promotes the work of emerging artists. We focus on showing dynamic visual and media arts practices which includes installation, video, net art, performance and social practices. Through curated exhibitions in our project space, interdisciplinary special events, Whippersnapper offers fresh and accessible contemporary arts programming.
Whippersnapper Gallery’s project space operates with a strong curatorial emphasis focusing on emerging trends from new generation visual artists. Located at a cross section between three dynamic neighborhoods: the gallery is viewable by the public 24 hours a day through fully exposed street level windows. This new space offers young artists an opportunity to mount conceptually engaged and aesthetically resolved exhibitions.
