Biding My Time / Biting My Tongue is an exploration in repression, memory, and desire of mental health and illness in South Asian communities. Based on the cumulative experiences of artists cherry kutti and Sanjit Dhillon, the formative domestic sphere is questioned through a re-staging of a living room scene where structures of silence surrounding mental health are dismantled to reveal an alternative narrative.
Biding My Time / Biting My Tongue is the first project to be presented as part of PEERS PROJECTS.
